Patty is a Speech-Language Pathologist. She graduated from Fredonia State University with a Bachelors of Science in Education of Speech and Hearing Handicapped in 1987 and completed her Graduate work at Fredonia State University and was awarded her Masterís of Science in Speech Pathology in 1992. Patty then went on to obtain her NYS License and her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Patty has worked in various setting in this field for over 2 decades. She enjoys working with children and their families helping them "to reach their potential".
In 2005 Childrenís Creative Therapies was established. Patty felt blessed with the opportunity to launch a business, fulfilling the managing/ marketing/business aspects of her personality along with continuing her career in the field she had chosen. Patty played an essential role in the creation of many of the policies, procedures and everyday operations of Childrenís Creative Therapies.
In 2012 Creative Therapies of WNY was created!! There was a need for some restructuring to further develop future plans. Patty was then joined by two long time friends, Debbie Fitzgerald, OTR and Denise Freedman, PT.
Patty has served on the Speech Language & Hearing Association of Western New York (SHAWNY) Board. She is trained in the techniques of PROMPT, PECS and DIR/Floortime Model Approach which added to her wealth of knowledge & experience in the Speech/Language Development of young children. She feels intervention at a very young age, when appropriate, gives a child the best chance to bloom.
Patty has two incredible children and feels they have been an essential asset to not only her personal life but also her career as an SLP.

Deborah Fitzgerald is a 1988 graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. She is a dedicated therapist with extensive experience, working with the pediatric population in a multitude of settings across the United States for over 20 years. She has worked at the Senior Therapist and Department Supervior levels, and continues to practice home, community and school based Occupational Therapy with children, having a variety of disabilities. Deborah specializes in the area of Sensory Processing Disorders, Fine Motor, Oral Motor, Feeding and Swallowing difficulties. She has a consistent passion for learning, and utilizes a wide variety of modalities to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. She believes that the earlier intervention is provided, the better the opportunity for a child to create and grow. Deborah enjoys mentoring and sharing her expertise with other professionals, therapists, and families alike.
Deborah is thrilled to be given the opportunity to utilize her supervisory and management skills to enhance the continuing success of a well permier early intervention agency that enhances the life of children throughout the Western New York region.
Deborah lives in Niagara County, and has been blessed with two amazing twin children, who keep her in constant motion with an ongoing love to play.

Denise is a licensed Physical Therapist who received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1987. Denise comes to Creative Therapies of WNY with a diverse background of over 20 years of experience. Beginning her career with in-patient hospital, out-patient clinical, and homecare settings, she followed her passion and expanded into the preschool and early intervention settings, working with babies and children throughout Western New York. She has attended a wide array of continuing education seminars and has been a member of The American Physical Therapy Association since 1985. She is also proud to say she has many joy filled years spent mentoring her own three children. She believes the health and well being of all people, young and old, is vital and enjoys making movement a part of oneís everyday life. Denise recently designed two books that she incorporates into her preschool physical therapy sessions.
